Our staff are DBS verified before caring for an individual. We work closely with Healthcare professionals in the community to ensure each induvial is getting the correct care.

I have worked in care for over 20 years, with a Level 5 NVQ in in Adult Social Management. I specialise in Dementia care, with an Act of Kindness Award 2019-2021.

Once you have contacted a member of our team, we will complete the required paper work and transport will be arranged to pick up and drop off your family/friend.
From £52.50 per day (transport is additonal cost, please ask upon request).
At Active Minds Pontefract we are a professional, caring and reliable team. We enjoy helping our clients with their meals and personal needs, but we also take our time to listen to our clients. Our support service is available across the board. We specialise in assistance with elderly clients who have dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, Learning Difficulty and Special Needs. We at Active Minds Pontefract work together to strengthen our client and worker connections, we boost independence and reassure the needs of each induvial.
We love to plan activities to keep the mind healthy and active such as puzzles & sensory engagement, taking every opportunity we can to get out into the fresh air, whilst celebrating special occasions such as Easter, Eid, Christmas, Halloween, Chinese New Year and many more.
